CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

 

Yoga Flow—Explores the relationship between breath and movement, body awareness and gaze, with instruction on modifications for all postures. A flow class designed for all levels.

 

Introduction to Yoga—For students new or returning to Ashtanga yoga. We will go over each of the foundational yoga poses at a slow pace, with education on using props and appropriate modifications. This class prepares students to enter any yoga class with the ability to be safe and successful in each pose. This class is appropriate for beginners and those looking to fine-tune their yoga practices.

 

Vinyasa Flow—Explores the connection between breath and movement, body awareness and gaze, with instruction on modifications for all postures. This class is for all levels.

 

Exploring the Primary Series—Offers instruction on poses from the first series of Ashtanga yoga, which is the foundation of our practice. Primary Series is a set sequence of postures that we deepen over time. The focus of this class incorporates poses from the series, with focus on the breath, and finer points of each pose. This class is appropriate for all levels of students.

 

Gentle Yoga for Relaxation—For students who want a gentle stretching class with focus on breath and fewer postures at a slower pace.

This class is good for traditionally less flexible students, students who are new or returning to yoga, or who are in need of a gentle class. This class is for all levels.

 

AM Yoga—An energizing flow class designed for students of all levels.
